Monitor actual encounter submission and acceptance rates to meet state requirements and internal goals
Review, research, investigate and correct encounter pends/rejects/bypassesDevelop short or long-term solutions and process improvements by identifying root causes using data files, provider files, diagnosis files, etc.
Document and present findings to health plan leadership, operations or IT partners
• Generally work self-directed and not prescribed- Works with less structured, more complex issues- Serves with less structured, more complex issues

Requirements:

3+ years Business Finance Analysis experience
Intermediate MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Access) skills are a must.
Experience working with and analyzing large quantities of data is required.
A healthcare background is required
Preferred:

Bachelor's degree is preferred
Working a matrix is a plus
Medical claims knowledge highly preferred
Working with PL/SQL within the Oracle Data base is preferred
