The Clinical Nurse Supervisor position is responsible for clinical excellence, standards, and quality improvement for the Borgess Lee Medical Group. Supervises the daily activities of the clinical staff including preparing daily schedules and assists in solving difficult issues. Facilitates the implementation of new clinical policies and procedures. Oversees daily clinical operations to ensure policies and procedures are followed and operations are running smoothly. Acts as liaison between clinical staff and providers. Collaborates with Director to facilitate and support changes to improve workflow, clinical outcomes, and financial performance. Follows Corporate Responsibility policies and completes modules as required.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan. BLS required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels of staff and project teams in order to accomplish goals. Leads appropriate BLMG committees as appointed by BLMG Director. Behavior demonstrates an integration of systems values in day-to-day work. Activities are customer focused and exercise concepts of continuous quality improvements. The ability to manage complex issues. Advanced analytical skills necessary to gather, interpret and present data and make appropriate recommendations. Provides operational and quality oversite to all clinical staff within BLMG. Attends nursing area reviews and problem-solving conferences as required. Performs other duties as assigned by Director.
