Classification: Accountant - Cost
Compensation: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
Our client is a growing automotive supplier located in Monroe and they are presently looking for a talented Cost Accountant to join their firm. If you are hired as the Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: volume, price and mix analysis by finished good part number for all product lines; variance analysis and explanation vs. prior forecast; material margin, conversion cost and profitability analysis; sales price review; monitor system sales prices via customer purchase order; update bill of material current and standard cost for all component parts ? interaction with division program team and purchasing; daily scrap tracking; daily tracking of inventory balances, inventory adjustments, current cost and negative inventory; account reconciliation; month-end journal entries; daily analysis; maintain tooling, and assist in other ad hoc and special projects as required.
