Seeking Wound/Ostomy RN! Imagine working for an organization that is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of wounds, both acute and chronic, using the latest techniques for healing and preservation of limbs while minimizing reoccurrence. In this role, the RN is responsible for a variety of functions related to the specialty preparation in stoma care and education, skin care, and incontinence management.
Position/Opportunity Highlights: -
Opportunity to serve as a consultant with physicians, nursing, hospital, and home care staff.

Opportunity to work one on one with patients. Assesses patients, recommends treatment of wounds, skin care management, and pre- and post-operatively for stomas and act as a primary educator
Qualifications: -
BSN

Application to an accredited WOCN program within one (1) year
-
Graduation from a WOCN accredited Nursing Education Program with successful completion of both wound and ostomy programs.

Two (2) year commitment once graduated from accredited WOCN program.

Minimum two (2 ) years clinical experience in a hospital setting

Management and/or teaching skills.

Holds current IN state licensure or eligible (RN).

Board certification by WOCN Nursing Certification in both wound and ostomy care within 3 months of hire.
