PeopleSoft Technical Analyst
CCCi is seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Analyst for a contract-to-hire position in Charlotte, NC. The Client is seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Analyst in their Technology Management Division. This role will be responsible for providing expert technical support for PeopleSoft HRMS 9.1 as a member of the PeopleSoft technical support team, assist in the day to day technical support of the PeopleSoft system and ongoing maintenance such as patches, upgrades, and user requested functionality. This role will also support the ongoing maintenance of the PeopleSoft System running on Oracle utilizing Windows server; communicate with end-users to resolve issues, determine new requirements and provide problem resolution; provide ongoing support for the application to the end-users; provide expertise and programming utilizing People Tools, People Code, SQR, Crystal Reports; apply PeopleSoft updates and fixes.
PeopleSoft Technical Analyst Responsibilities
-Provide day to day technical operational support of the PeopleSoft HRMS system.
-Develop technical solutions for issue resolution and user-requested functionality.
-Produce SQR programs and reports, including mass updates to the People Soft system when necessary.
-Provide ongoing support and expertise to the People Soft application.
-Follow all established IT standards.
-Resolve problems with the functionality of the People Soft code when necessary.
-Update the People Soft system with new versions and patches.
-Tune Oracle SQL statements to optimize the performance of the People Soft system.
-Write interfaces to other systems with SQR, SQL and/or PLSQL.
-Provide expertise with People Tools, People Code and the SQR language.
PeopleSoft Technical Analyst Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
-Minimum of 3 years technical PeopleSoft experience
-Experience with PeopleSoft 8.9 or 9.1; a minimum of 3 years Oracle and PL/SQL experience
-Experience developing complex SQL queries against the PeopleSoft application tables
-Minimum of one year technical and functional expertise in the following PeopleSoft modules: Human Resources, Base Benefits, Benefits Billing, Time and Labor, Payroll, Recruitment and Position Management.
PeopleSoft Technical Analyst Required Software Specific Skills:
-Must have at least three (3) years of experience related to installing, upgrading, and maintaining the PeopleSoft Human Resources modules (version 8.9 or later) in an Oracle/Linux or Oracle/Windows environment.
-Write software using the following tools and state-of-the-art computer technology.
-Upgrade to new versions of PeopleSoft HRMS, and apply patches and fixes to PeopleCode.
-Provide programming support in all phases of the software lifecycle.
-Develop, test, maintain, and document code using a variety of software programming languages and tools (e.g., PeopleTools PeopleCode, Application Engine,SQL/SQR, XML Publisher, Integration Broker, Change Assistant, and Data Mover).
