ENTRY LEVEL SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

This position will focus on supporting Extron IP Link® hardware and software solutions that our customers implement into A/V systems. Software Application engineer's are required to program control drivers to interface IP Link products with various A/V industry devices such as, but not limited to video projectors, displays, video conference units, audio processors, and matrix switchers. The position also provides the final tier of technical support regarding implementation of control in an A/V system for our established base of professional A/V resellers and integrators.

/> * BSEE, BSCE or BSCS Degree (transcripts required) - NEW GRADUATES WELCOME
* Experience programming in ANSI C, HTML, JavaScript. Additionally, C# and .Net Framework is a plus.
* Understanding and experience of Network OSI Model including: HTTP, XML, TCP, UDP, IP, Ethernet, relay, and RS232
* Knowledge of IR modulation technology
* Experience working with IT and computer networking
* Graphical User Interface design and layout experience is a plus
* SQL server administration, Client/Server configuration is a plus
* Basic knowledge of DC circuit theory with experience using a volt-ohm meter and oscillator
* Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
* Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
* Project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
