Smartsource is looking for a Senior Voice Engineer to begin working in Lewis Center, OH for an IT company.

Term: 3-6 Months (Possible Temp To Hire) OR DIRECT
Pay Rate: $60/hr-(NOT NEGOTIABLE)
Upon Conversion or Direct Placement: $110,000-$115,000 +10% annual performance bonus

Our customer has an immediate need for 2 Senior Voice Engineers either on a temp to hire or Direct Placement from Day one located in Lewis Center OH.
This person provides task management, network design, engineering and support services to Managed Services clients with large and/or complex networks. Provides 2rd level technical support for the 1st level engineering functions.
UCCE is absolute here! NO EXCEPTIONS as well as travel mid-west up to 50% of the time
High Level Duties & Responsibilities
Review network analysis, design, implementation and project management for client projects and new client implementations.
Providing 2nd level break/fix support, operational support (e.g., informal training, mentoring, pager-support, troubleshooting, etc.) for junior members of the team
Provides sales support for new deals and clients
Follows Cisco and Industry trends to maintain up to date knowledge of products
Detailed Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrate the ability to provide Level 3 Fault Management on several advanced Unified Communications Components including, but not limited to Communications Manager, Unity Voice Messaging, Collaboration, Voice Gateways and related protocols.
Demonstrate innovative problem solving and generate workable solutions and resolve fault issues.
Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve fault issues that affect multiple technologies

Provide task management and network design/implementation services for client projects.
Provide second level support for operations engineers (24 x 7) and client engineers (e.g., Ad hoc requests)
Provide engineering analysis of client network performance and develop recommendations. Review analysis and recommendations with clients.
Performs/manages engineering maintenance activities for client networks (e.g., circuit upgrades, new site installs, adds/moves/changes, etc).
Provides on-going design recommendations for Management Services clients, especially regarding Cisco best practices and design guidelines.
Provides network review, enhancement and integration activities for new Management Services clients.
Provides coaching, training and mentoring Engineers and new hires.
Work with other IMS teams to troubleshoot complex issues across various technologies
Understand various complex environments, including how UCM integrates with UCCX, UCCE, CUSP, and other technologies.
Desired skills: Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Cisco Unity, UCM Express, Unity Express, Emergency Responder, Meeting Place, CUPS, CUSP, CUBE, SIP, MGCP, H.323.
Must be willing to take a background test upon an offer being made
BS/BA preferred. Technical degree (e.g., Engineering, MIS, CIS etc.) preferred.
Cisco Certified Networking Professional – Certification is a huge plus
5-7 years business, consulting or technology-related work experience.
UCCE implementation and administration background is a must
Travel around Mid-West up to 50%
Must have excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
