Structural Engineers - New Graduates

Job Description

You will have the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in structual engineering.

You will work on a project team with other structural engineering and design professionals engaged in a wide range of interesting and challenging structural design and analysis projects.

Your work will include the design of reinforced concrete structures, steel frames and connections, steel shell structures, foundations, and support structures.

You will perform structural analysis of steel and concrete structures, foundations and structural components, for static and dynamic loads including seismic, wind, blast, tornado and impact loading.

You will also have the opportunity to travel to client offices and plant sites to support engineering and design work.

Job Requirements

A BSCE or MSCE with a strong academic background and interest in structural engineering, including structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, structural modeling and dynamic analysis, is necessary.

Familiarity with design codes and standards, including AISC and ACI, is required along with familiarity with computer software commonly used in structural applications, such as SAP2000, ANSYS, SAFE, STAADPro and/or GTStudl.

Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is desirable, but not essential.
