Electrical Engineer

BASIC FUNCTIONS: 

• Constant vigilance for safety of self, team and equipment
• Implement process improvements and equipment upgrades
• Project management
• Electrical construction engineering
• Power distribution design and maintenance for plant site
• Hardware and software automation engineering.
• Maintaining and updating electrical prints and documentation
• Assist electricians with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Maintain Mill PLC’s, HMI’s, Level 2 systems, and Drives
• Assist with set up of preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Dedication to being a team player and providing great customer service

PREREQUISITES:

1. BS Electrical Engineering Degree

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
3. Ability to build strong relationships with team and to contribute effectively in a team environment
4. Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
5. Have demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
6. Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles
7. Programming skills.
