A regional transportation and delivery company is now accepting applications for the position of Warehouse sorter/package handler. This position will report directly to the shift Operations Manager and will be based out of the South San Francisco area facility. The main function of this position is to sort and move packages in the day to day operation of the company.
Prior experience in warehousing and transportation is preferred.
Position requires the ability to lift up to 75lbs. Must be able to read and understand English for package sorting purposes. Schedules are subject to minor changes depending on the needs of the facility.
Hours are roughly 3:00AM-7:00AM Monday thru Saturday 6 days a week.
We are looking for energetic, hard-working individuals to remove packages from large trucks, run through a conveyor belt system, and sort according to destination for delivery. This is a very physical job, requires heavy lifting, physical, drug screen, and background check.
The warehouse has varied tempatures, colder in the winter and hotter in the summer. This is a great job for students, or a second job to supplement your income.
