Corporate Nurse Consultant

Job Description

Responsible for assessing, evaluating and implementing clinical service operations which will include:

  • Facility visits to assist in planning and executing clinical-service systems, monitoring trends to identify best practices and potential risks, while incorporating finding into process improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Participating in nursing department budget planning
  • Local travel to 2-5 assigned facilities in Chicago suburbs

Job Requirements

 MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A CLINICAL CONSULTANT/RISK MANAGER ROLE

  • Minimum of three years experience as a Director of Nursing in a long term care or sub-acute care setting.
  • Clinical responsibility and experience in multi-facility long-term healthcare organizations.
  • Valid RN license in the state of Illinois in good standing
  • A degree from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Meet regulatory and corporate standards for operation, and provide an excellent level of customer satisfaction
  • Organized, efficient and willing to demonstrate his/her methods
