Sr. Robotic Engineer

Position Summary:


Responsible for all aspects of robot programming, commissioning and implementation of all robotic equipment for the site including industrial automation and material handling, assembly and test equipment, etc. Responsible for design and commission of the most reliable, efficient and operational designs considering costs and budgets.


Primary Responsibilities:


Works closely with manufacturing engineers and program managers from project launch, through to the final installation, and through follow up and support.

Prepares a bill of materials for procurement of equipment and describes & approves outside

vendor services needed.

Develop & implement robot programming.

Instructs electronic technicians, production workers, shop supervisors, engineers and others on the proper use of robotic equipment, implementation of methods and processes, and maintenance.

Job Requirements

 

  • Requires a 4 year degree in machine, manufacturing, or robotic engineering or
  • equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years robotics / automated engineering experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in
  • an aerospace environment.
  • Manufacturing process experience.
  • Ability to read and Interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications
  • Ability to use engineering test equipment, CAD, and/or various computer systems.
