.NET/C# Software Engineer

Our client creates software that solves clinical, financial, operational and regulatory challenges for hospitals and clinics nationwide.

We are looking for software developers that are devoted to their craft and wish to make a meaningful contribution to our client’s ability to create content and workflow solutions.  Our client's solutions enable their clients to deliver collaborative, high quality, efficient healthcare for their patients. 
 

Day-to-Day

• Requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing and deployment of enterprise wide web-based, web service based or reports based proprietary healthcare software solutions.
• Analyze and document software requirements, prepare design specifications, develop software, create unit tests and deploy the code to different environments.

Must Have’s

• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of OO concepts, development life cycle and underlying software development principles/practices
• 5+ years of strong web app development experience within the .NET /C# framework.
• MVC, TFS, and Visual Studio.NET for systems development; web app experience using JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX.
• SQL and the ability to understand/work with development in the data, business logic, or presentation layers.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a collaborative team environment.
• Technical documentation experience, detailing the project design parameters and to support the software lifecycle process.
• Accustomed to working on a team that writes clean code, maintains high standards and meets time sensitive deadlines.

Nice-to-Have’s

• SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, web page design.
• Experience in exchange, integration, sharing, and retrieval of electronic data; preferably health related data using HL7 standards.
