Job Description

 

We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA to improve the lives of the people we serve through compassion and innovation in healthcare.

 

Duties of Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA:

 

This position include following, in accordance with established policies and therapy standards:

 

  • Provides treatment to residents as directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Records treatments given in medical record
  • Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs
  • Assists with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and department

Job Requirements of Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA:

 

Candidates for the Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA position should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Meets educational requirements established in the state of practice
  • Current licensure in practicing state and/or nationally certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Possess problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with patients, patient's family members and the facility staff.
  • Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and post-offer employment physical exam if required.
