HR Internship **UNPAID- COLLEGE CREDITS**
Summary: Provide administrative and communication support within the Human Resources Department for the Director, Human Resources Coordinators and Payroll Coordinator.
Major Project: Assist with updating and the development of job descriptions.
Duties:
Records and tracks all incoming applications and resumes.
Schedules interviews.
Obtains reference checks for potential employees as needed.
Sends out routine correspondences to applicants.
Maintain recruitment and staff training materials to include new hire orientation folders.
Maintain HR records including employee files (filing when necessary) and entering employee information into HRB.
Assisting with benefits by reconciling benefits bills.
Assisting with the administration of evaluations (90-day and annual).
Answer phones and field calls to appropriate HR Team Member.
Delivers and sorts HR mail.
Responsible for selling discounted tickets to employees.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
