At NJM Bank, we are seeking a talented, enthusiastic Consumer Lending Officer to join our team at the West Trenton office.  The successful candidate will be responsible for loan origination and the production of consumer lending products.  He or she will also have leadership responsibility for loan origination and servicing staff.

 

 Job Responsibilities:

 

• Loan origination and the production of consumer lending products including the planning and coordination of product promotion, and collection and management of non-performing assets.
• Manage and oversee the lending origination and servicing staff which includes processing, closing and servicing of all lending products offered by the bank within established bank guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly loan activity reports and the preparation and filing of HMDA reports, CRA reports and other required accounting and regulatory reports related to the bank’s consumer lending activities.
• Work with the CCO to develop, coordinate and implement the bank’s loan policy and procedures within the parameters established by the Board of Directors.

Job Requirements:

• 5-7 years of consumer lending/underwriting experience
• Extensive knowledge of banking products and processes
• Prior supervisory experience
• Ability to manage day-to-day operations including working with customers and employees to resolve problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deal with multiple priorities
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelors degree is strongly preferred
