TRAINING INSTRUCTOR - RAMP

Flying 70 CRJ-200 regional jets as US Airways Express, AWAC brings passengers from their hometowns large and small to hubs that provide them with a gateway to countless travel destinations. Additionally, AWAC is a ground handler for United Airlines in United's Washington Dulles International hub and 20 other cities throughout the country.
AWAC's team is made up of around 2,800 members dedicated to making our travelers' experiences safe and pleasant. With service to approximately 70 cities throughout North America, we carry an estimated 6 million passengers a year.

Responsibilities:

Facilitates ramp initial and annual recurrent training for Passenger Service station personnel which includes, but is not limited to: Ramp Operations, Hazardous Material, Deicing, Fueling, and associated training workshops including documentation of training.
Develops new training initiatives and curriculums, including web-based e-learning.
Prepares and updates training materials for both classroom and field training.
Liaison with the flying partner carriers.
Evaluates employee performance in training programs and makes recommendations to agent/student and manager.
Monitors and evaluates training procedures followed by stations.
Participates in system-wide training including new station openings.
Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.*

Requirements Preferred Education and Experience

Associate or Bachelor degree in education / prior teaching experience
Two years experience in station operations / customer service
Excellent stand-up presentation skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
