  Scope of this job is to act as Quality Assurance Analyst for the PMO team in Investments Technology group.  Candidate will monitor and govern all requirements, detailed analysis, design, development, testing, implementation deliverables for all new and ongoing projects and initiatives within Investment Technology.   The successful candidate needs to demonstrate interest and adaptability in rapidly changing situations, applying SDLC knowledge in information technology projects to make correct decisions in the pursuit of quality assurance and timely releases. Responsibilities include interaction with Product Managers, Developers, IT Operations Support group and other teams as necessary from project inception to understand product requirements.  Candidate will work with QA Lead to ensure that SDLC rules and processes are applied correctly.


Job Requirements:



Skills Required:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in QA
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • SDLC process understanding
  • Ability and enthusiasm to understand new technologies and business processes
  • Problem solving and creativity
  • Understanding basic concept of business, accounting, management information systems - especially the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Familiarity with SQL and SqlServer
  • Strong writing and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
        
Desired:
  • Knowledge about quality assurance practices, testing processes and product development lifecycle
  • Background in software development, systems integration or process automation is preferred
  • Familiarity with Test Director Quality Center (TDQC)
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
