Description Director of Nursing

Premier Medical Services is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing for a 55 bed assisted living/intermediate care facility in the Des Plaines/Morton Grove area.

We have been working with healthcare professionals to help find permanent positions in Healthcare facilities throughout the Chicagoland area for the past several years. Great pay and excellent benefits!

The Director of Nursing will:

-Be responsible for the recruitment and development of nursing staff.
-Ensure that all nursing personnel follow policies and procedures.
-Planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating nursing care services.
-Ensuring that the facility is in strict compliance with all state and federal guidelines, which includes playing an active role in the preparation for all state surveys, and taking all necessary steps to create a plan of correction.
Requirements The Director of Nursing must have at least 2 years of prior DON experience with a background of MDS and Restorative nursing.
