The Opportunity


Airoom has a unique opportunity for a Sales Representative or Project Development Manager (PDM), the official title this position holds at Airoom. The PDM’s main responsibility is to sell big ticket residential additions, kitchens and larger remodeling projects. In addition, the PDM is also responsible for the preparation of the preliminary design and costing documents. These documents are developed through the input and assistance of our technical savvy, Design Development Department. Their support allows the PDM to focus their efforts directly on the client and the sales aspect of the process.

If you owned or worked in a related business and have experience with in home sales, this is an opportunity for you to develop and expand your skills. Our current professional sales staff has earnings ranging from $120K to $350K with the average professional earning approximately $180K per year.

Responsibilities:

 

The PDM is responsible for understanding Airoom’s business objectives and the following specific functions:

 

  • Meeting customers in order to determine construction needs. (Meetings typically take place at the customer’s home)
  • Determine needs and provide solutions through 2-3call sales cycle
  • Develop design and cost estimate with the assistance of our Design Development Department
  • Meet quarterly goals and quotas established
  • Work 55+ hours per week, must be able to work evenings (at least 3) during the week and Saturday mornings (M-F work day starts at 10:30 in the office)
Requirements

REQUIRED Skills/Experience:


 

  • Experience in an in-home sales environment
  • General knowledge of residential construction methods and practices.
  • Experience with sales of large ticket, intangible items and knowledge of relationship based sales principles.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional appearance a must.
  • College Degree preferred.
  • Any formal sales training and/or experience in a sales management role is a strong plus
