Sales Account Manager

Description ReSource Point of Sale LLC (RPOS) is a Chicago based POS solutions provider. RPOS sells both new and reconditioned POS and barcode scanning hardware along with POS software and services. Our specialty and core competency lies within our reconditioned hardware sales. This product is all processed in house at our Chicago facility. RPOS has offices in both Chicago, IL and Clearwater, FL. RPOS customers range from small individual retailers to nationwide retail and hospitality chains. Our market is global and our customers are as far reaching as Europe, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Canada and several South American countries. Account managers are both buyers and sellers. We trade in a very dynamic market where the value of our used product can fluctuate both rapidly and significantly based on availability and changes in technology. The company has experienced significant growth over the last 7 years and continues to be recognized as a leader in its marketplace. 2010 will bring the grand opening of ReSource Point of Sale's new state of the art, green headquarters in downtown Chicago (construction to begin spring 2010). This inside sales position will require the management and development of existing accounts along with the development of new accounts. Account managers are expected to learn and manage the various business processes in place and maintain the integrity of the database on a daily basis. Employees enjoy a casual, young and progressive work environment. Account managers will travel for trade shows and conferences as well as client visits. The compensation is base plus commission. A first year account manager can expect to earn between $40 and $50K.

Requirements Candidates should have a college degree along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Sales experience of 0 - 5 years is preferred. POS sales experience is a plus, but not necessary. Restaurant / Retail managers or POS technicians with an aptitude for sales would also be a good fit.
