Mortgage Home Loan Closer

Job Description 

 

Perform final preparation of audit of all documents needed for closing a home loan.  Review title and survey for exceptions. Review and audit loan documentation to ensure all underwriting conditions have been met. Calculate closing figures. Print closing documents. Coordinate funding of the loan with the accounting department. Provide information on closing to appropriate parties, as requested. Audit closing documents for third party loans prior to purchase. Audit returned closing package from Title company. Place documents in order per investor instructions. Coordinate transfer of loan packages to purchasing investors (whether single or group). Assist in clearing any purchase exceptions per investor(s) requests. Send required documents to FHA/VA for government insurance. Monthly file organization of closed loan files from previous month. All other duties as assigned by management.

 


Job Requirements 

 

  • Three years loan closing experience in conventional and government residential mortgages.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and to work overtime when necessary. 
  • Must have a High School diploma. Some college preferred.
  • Must possess data entry and computer typing skills..
