Cosi, Inc. is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support our fast-paced, and innovative Marketing Department located in our Deerfield, Illinois-based Support Center.

The Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing goals of building Cosi brand awareness, driving sales and profit, and improving performance at existing restaurants and opening successful new restaurants.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide grass-roots support for both company and franchisee store openings.
• Manage relationship with fulfillment vendor.
• Manage all elements of Menu Board maintenance, LTO rollouts and other related programs. 
• Create and manage various collateral pieces, including but not limited to: invitations, coupons and signage.
• Fulfill daily marketing requests from stores and Support Center.

• Accomplish quality improvements in all marketing material production (brand consistency, delivery, writing etc).

• Support website customer follow-ups.

• Track Marketing budget and provide updates/analysis. 

• Maintain department calendar, schedule necessary team meetings.

• Attend meetings to record and distribute follow up responsibilities.

• Establish and maintain storage system for collateral.

• Process invoices through accounting department.

• Research new marketing techniques and programs to consistently expand Cosi competencies.
• Perform graphic design work as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of marketing experience (restaurant/hospitality industry a plus).

• Print production or merchandising experience (print agency experience a plus).

• Strong project management skills from conception to evaluation, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to deadline.

• Ability to formulate flexible strategies and action plans to achieve results in a changing environment.

• Ability to work within and manage budgets.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations that are understandable by the target audience.

• Ability to function independently and intuitively in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly organized/strong attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

• Demonstrated creativity and sound business judgment.

• Strong computer skills that include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, Internet,  Access and Adobe Illustrator.
