Description

Our client, a community-based hospital located in Chicago, is currently reviewing resumes for a Nurse Manager position. The ideal candidate will have current experience as a Nurse Manager or Supervisor of Med/Surge or Tele/ICU unit at a small-to-medium sized community based hospital, or a Nurse Manager at a large medical center.

 

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for oversight of the nursing unit inclusive of staffing, daily nursing operation, training, evaluation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have survey compliance experience with both IDPH and either JCAHO or HFAP.

Requirements

Qualified candidate will be a BSN prepared nurse (active Illinois license required), Master’s degree preferred, who possess strong leadership skills and is effective in inter-departmental communications.
