Job Description 

Our client, a well established manufacturing company, is seeking a collections specialist to join their team.  The collections specialist will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing a portfolio of commercial accounts, collecting past due payments and establishing payment terms.  The qualified collections specialist will have business-to-business collections experience and SAP expereince is a plus.  This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, customer service oriented collections specialist to join an industry leader.

Collections Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain a portfolio of commercial accounts
  • Communicate with clients to ensure they are staying current with their payments, building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Run weekly aging reports to identify outstanding receivables at 30, 60 and 90 days past due
  • Review pending orders to ensure that credit limits are not exceeded and work with sales to release credit holds
 


Job Requirements 

    • Two or more years commercial / business to business collections experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAP software is a plus
