Coyne American Institute:
Coyne American Institute, a 110 year old career college in Chicago, seeks part-time Instructors to teach at our Loop campus (230 West Monroe) in the following program:
MEDICAL BILLING AND CODING
Among the courses to be taught are Basic Insurance and Coding and Advanced Insurance and Coding. Morning or evening courses
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a teaching assignment for each course with an approved syllabus and daily lesson plan outlining course content and learning objectives,
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate the learning styles of a diverse student body,
- Administer and grade quizzes, tests and exams and
- Actively work to maintain a high level of student enrollment by maintaining accurate daily attendance records, calling absent students, and communicating attendance concerns to the Director of Education and/or Campus Director.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have
- A minimum of an associate degree,
- A minimum of five years of experience with respect to one of the academic programs listed above and
- Possess national certification.
