Description
Our client, a growing company in downtown Chicago is looking for a strong Accounts Payable Manager with a process improvement background. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with tons of growth potential for the right candidate. Company plans to double in size in the next 5 years and will need someone to implement best practices through this growth.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the processing of a high volume of AP invoices
- Manage 1099 and T&E Process
- Oversee a team of Accounts Payable Specialists
- Implement process improvement initiatives as well as mainstreaming AP process flows
Requirements
- Supervisory experience a must
- 1099 and T&E experience desired
- Experience with electronic a/p processing desired
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel desired
- Experience with 1099 preparation and with purchasing card administration desired
- Must have attention to detail and be able to work in a fast paced environment
