Description An Independent Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager / Customer Service Representative.

Job duties include:

  • Addressing Customer Inquiries regarding their Insurance Coverages

  • Processing Insurance Applications, Endorsements, Binders, Quotes, Rating, etc.

  • Bringing Accounts to Market with Insurance Carriers

  • Some Claims Reporting and Follow-up between Insurance Carrier and Insured



Compensation for this position also includes:

  • Vacation Pay

Requirements MUST HAVE INSURANCE EXPERIENCE!

Qualified Insurance Applicants should have:

  • Working Knowledge of Commercial Insurance (such as; contractors, manufacturers, BOPs, Work Comp, Retail, Habitational, E&O, E&S, Professional Liability, General Liability, etc)

  • Familiarity with Insurance Industry Software (such as; Applied System, TAM, AMS, Sagitta, etc)

  • Working Knowledge of Marketing Process / Online Quoting Software of Insurance Carriers (such as; Hartford, St Paul, Chubb, CNA, Zurich, SafeCo, etc)


    • While exposure to all above insurance risks (and Insurance Carriers) is preferred, overall insurance experience within some or most of these areas is acceptable.
