EXPERIENCED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Pri-Med Infusion Services is currently seeking a full time Pharmacy Technician/Patient Service Representative to assist us with our growing business.  Under the pharmacist's supervision, the technician will perform designated technicial and clerical tasks associated with the preparation, labeling and dispensing of medications, including sterile admixtures and prepackaged or unit dose drugs.  In addition they will perform designated tasks regarding processing of supply and equipment orders.  Always, ensuring that the patient and customer interaction is a positive experience is essential for the person selected.

Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Successful completion of an approved & accredited pharmacy technician training program
  • Certified Pharmacy technician
  • Licensed in the State of Illinois as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the aseptic preparation of large/small volume parenterals, parenteral nutrition, antibiotics and chemotherapy
  • Must have at least 1 year home infusion experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in data entry and use of a computer
  • Demonstrates excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrates a customer first attitude in all interactions
