Description Director of Nursing

Premier Medical Services Inc. is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing for a 99-bed psychiatric nursing home located on the north side of Chicago.

We have been working with healthcare professionals to help find permanent positions in Healthcare facilities throughout the Chicagoland area for the past several years.  Great pay and excellent benefits!

The Director of Nursing will:

-Be responsible for the recruitment and development of nursing staff
-Ensure that all nursing personnel follow policies and procedures
-Planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating nursing care services
-Ensuring that the facility is in strict compliance with all state and federal guidelines, which includes playing an active role in the preparation for all state surveys, and taking all necessary steps to create a plan of correction



Requirements
-At least 1-2 years experience as a Supervisor in a psychiatric or nursing home setting
