Description
Seeking experienced Tier II support to work on complex network systems within a Network Security and Operations Center (NSOC).
Responsibilities will include: Using advanced technical expertise and problem solving resolution skills. Provide guidance and direction for subordinate field/site engineering jobs. Serve as a technical resource for a large geographical area. Resolve network problems involving power, network hardware and software, lines, modems and terminals. Use software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities; resolves complex trouble tickets.
Additional responsibilities may include: schedule and prioritize activities of subordinate site/field engineering jobs. May assist sr staff provide on-site coordination of related activities (ordering equipment, interfacing with engineering staff and customers).
Qualified candidates will have a strong knowledge of products and platforms from multiple vendors. A technician for VA network systems, installation, and/or maintenance activities. Serves as a subject matter expert in service, production, or support area of responsibility.
