We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Marketing Coordinator for our Downers Grove, IL corporate office. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of previous marketing experience and knowledge of the transportation industry. We are looking for a goal driven individual who is looking to work with the industry's brightest.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Create standardized presentations to be used by Directors in the division and Sales when interacting with external customers.
- Research and provide industry data and trends to be analyzed and utilized by the organization.
- Manage our strategic solicitation process that is performed at each location and provide targets and metrics to measure success.
- Establish standardized reporting tools that can be utilized to provide internal and external customers with data to manage their business.
- Work with the Directors in various locations on an as-needed basis to develop information necessary for key customers.
- Perform routine audits of customer information and data to determine areas of growth and focus for the management team.
- Provide miscellaneous reports for internal and external use to management on an as needed basis.
- Work with Executive Team to establish and maintain a schedule for print ads to be released in the market place.
- Help establish key markets to focus through the understanding of conditions in the market place combined with company’s needs and capabilites.
- Undergraduate degree required – Prefer major or significant coursework in transportation, marketing, or communications.
- Two years experience in marketing is required for this position.
- Proficient in all Microsoft products to assist in the development of reports as well as presentations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills required.
- Analytical skills and ability to use various analytical tools to support growth objectives.
- Possess the aptitude to offer creative suggestions and the vision to identify areas for improvement.
- Strong writing skills necessary for promotional and presentation work as well as target customer development.
- Must be a self-starter, and have the ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of the Hub organization, its customers and vendors in a manner that consistently produces results.
