Account Executive Mortgage and Banking Online Advertising Sales

Bankrate Account Executives are primarily responsible for closing new business with pay-per-click and display direct advertisers, agencies and closing specific target advertisers. Advertiser Sales: Attain new business, meet quota and goals set by management. Execute on key phases of the sales cycle such as lead generation, penetrating new accounts, presenting and discussing product offerings, composing proposals, negotiating and closing the deal Contract Negotiations: To insure success of the advertiser campaign, the Inside Sales Account Executive will also be responsible for obtaining an agreement from the assigned prospects. Additional duties may include: Utilize and update salesforce.com (contact management tool) for daily activities. Prepare sales reports for Sales Manager. Representing Bankrate at Marketing expos, and other duties that may be required.

Requirements The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least: Minimum of one (2) year sales experience in a business to business environment. Conceptual and strategic sales training and application. Proven track record of conceptual selling achievement. Must be proficient at calling on C Level executives, excellent questioning and data gathering skills, an astute listener who can explain solutions to prospects. Talkers or presenters need not apply! Knowledge of CPA, CPC or CPM is a must. Must be familiar with online advertising concepts. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following abilities: Proven Track Record: Have a successful career history in exceeding quota, commitments, and goals. Excellent Communication: Excel in both written and oral communication; effective interpersonal skills; and telephone skills Customer Focus: Provides satisfaction for both internal and external customers and creates partner relationships.
