Description Mundocom USA (http://www.mundocomww.com/) has an immediate opening for a Manager of Accounting & Finance reporting to the Finance Director. 

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Manager of Accounting & Finance include the following:
  • supervise and review work of 1 accounts payable staff (staff has 4+ years in the position)
  • supervise and review work of 1 financial analyst (2+ years in the position)
  • month-end close responsibilities: review JEs, submit JEs, analyze preliminary PLs & B/S
  • oversee intercompany reporting 
  • work with shared service center on a/p, billing, GL matters
  • detailed review & analysis of PLs including monthly internal reporting to management / directors
  • team with financial analyst & finance director on corporate reporting
  • coordinate annual budget and periodic forecasts with management / directors
  • coordinate requirements for financial statement, controls, and sales tax audits
  • monitor compliance with control procedures & maintain detailed records of control compliance
  • file sales and use tax returns 
  • frequent ad hoc analysis & issue resolution
Requirements Experience and skill requirements:
  • 5+ years of accounting-related experience
  • experience supervising & managing employees
  • experience/familiarity with PeopleSoft preferred
  • experience/familiarity with Hyperion preferred
  • results-oriented with keen eye for details
  • proficient in Excel
  • strong verbal & written communication skills
  • ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects


Educational requirements:
  • bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
