Sr. Director of Nursing - Critical Care/Neurosciences
Reports to the Senior Vice President, Nursing, and provides patient care through organizing, directing and evaluating the provision of clinical and related services. Provides administrative oversight to designated nursing departments in the Division of Nursing (DON). Oversees and recommends special projects for the DON. Performs complex analyses and provides high level independent judgment and expertise. Oversees development, administration and management of a DON budgets, executes, direct financial functions for and ensures compliance with policies that support the DON. Master's degree in Health Care or Business Administration is required.
More than ten years experience of progressively more responsible job related experience; at least five years of which are in an upper level managerial/administrative nursing position. A license as a registered nurse in the District of Columbia is required.
