Performs moderately difficult software engineering tasks (dependent on project needs) such as requirements gathering, design documentation, development, testing and preparing for release. Works with business/customer to gather requirements and writes documentation. Participates in the design documentation process by authoring various components of project. Writes, debugs and modifies code for various software components. Writes automated test scripts, tests software and works with Quality Assurance to correct software bugs. Writes installation/setup/training documentation. Participates in team design/code reviews. Writes management status reports. Provides accurate time estimations on tasks outlining the level of effort required for various projects. Based on project needs, interface with other groups within IT to review impact to those departments. Participates in team meetings to review status of projects.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a Software Engineering related field and three to five years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Interface with other Software Engineers. Interface with all levels of Software Development management. Interface with other groups within IT. Demonstrate a high level of creativity in designing and developing software solutions. Periodically interface with stakeholders. Provide accurate, detailed level-of-effort estimates for development tasks using requirements analysis.
Required: Java, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (9i, 10g, 11g), Eclipse. Optional but preferred: Salesforce.com configuration and customization, test automation, continuous integration systems (TeamCity preferred), SCRUM. Optional: Oracle SOA Suite (Oracle BPEL, Web Services, Business Rules, Oracle Service Bus), Oracle JDeveloper.
College degree in a software development related field and 3-5 years professional level experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related software development experience required.

College degree in a Technical or related field and 3-5 years professional level experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related Technical experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.
Responsible for performing complex software engineering tasks (dependent on project needs) such as requirements gathering, design documentation, development, testing and preparing for release. Manages full life cycle of various projects from requirements gathering to go live in production. Leads team of engineers in project development including resource allocation, risk analysis and coordinating deployment activities. Designs, authors and reviews design documentation for projects. Writes installation/setup/training documentation. Analyzes solutions created by other engineers. Provides feedback. Reviews concept documents for feasibility of project as a whole. Participates in team design/code reviews. Writes management status reports & maintains detailed timesheet for reporting to Finance on capitalized projects. Based on project needs, interface with other groups within IT to review impact to those departments. Participates in team meetings to review status of projects. Troubleshoots and corrects production issues. Mentors other engineers and provides technical guidance relative to their projects; actively participates in the talent selection team during recruitment process. Researches new technologies to improve business processes. Researches new tools to improve development procedures. Reviews and approves software installation instructions. Other duties may be assigned.
In depth knowledge of accepted engineering practices. Computer software knowledge to include Microsoft Office, Custom Planning Tools and Databases. Excellent analytical skills; the ability to prioritize projects; excellent oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills. Has well-developed leadership qualities. Excellent project management skills. Required: Java, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (9i, 10g, 11g), Eclipse. Optional but preferred: Web Service test automation (SOAP UI preferred), continuous integration systems (TeamCity preferred), SCRUM. Optional: Oracle SOA Suite (Oracle BPEL, Web Services, Business Rules, Oracle Service Bus), Oracle JDeveloper.
College degree in a Software Engineering related field and six to eight plus years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
