Position Summary:
Currently, we?re seeking a Benefit Communications Specialist for our Knoxville, TN location. This experienced specialist will be a member of the Benefits Team to plan, develop and implement communications for North America (U.S. and Canada) on benefits, payroll, relocation and global mobility programs. Audiences will include active union and non-union employees, retirees and eligible inactive participants. Multiple versions of documents are frequent. Most communications are in English.
  • Accountable for development, measurement and execution of communications strategies which will be supported by a variety of mediums to enhance strong value perception of benefit programs
  • Educate audiences on their benefits, payroll, relocation and global mobility program
  • Maintain ERISA compliance, including SPDs and SMMs, with input from Legal and the Benefit Team
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and deliver by deadlines
  • Deliver strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Manage internal and external creative resources
  • Deliver outstanding results within budget
  • Gain consensus from multiple project partners to arrive at agreed outcomes
    This position reports to the Director, Benefits, and is expected to work collaboratively with all team members especially managers of Health & Welfare, Retirement, Benefits Finance & Payroll and Domestic and Global Mobility to ensure that all programs to support the overall People Philosophy of Kimberly-Clark. In addition, the position is responsible for effectively interfacing with Corporate Communications to assure alignment of messages, timing and approach.

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or other four year college degree in Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing
  • Minimum of four years business experience in benefits communications in writing and editing various forms of benefits communications including key messages, clear strategy and action timelines, and print/fulfillment processes.
  • At least two years of ERISA regulations and legal delivery requirements experience.
