Mentor

As a Mentor, you will be a key part of our commitment to making a difference and improving the lives of our clients whom we serve, while working alongside dedicated staff and a caring management team. This part time position will work approximately 15 hours per week and serve as a mentor to clients currently served by our Independent Living Transition Services.

This Part Time position is located at our beautiful Independent Living Transition Services organization in Polk County, Florida. This position will allow you to find purpose and give you room to grow in the largest not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida.

All Mentors are expected to implement our Philosophy of Care which is to provide:

2. Effective and Accountable Services
3. Utilize Positive Approaches

To qualify, we require:

1. High school or GED graduate
2. Must be able to complete a two day new hire orientation on Monday and Tuesday, 8:45am - 5pm each day.
3. Must have a valid Florida Driver's License
4. Must be a former foster youth and have reliable transportation
5. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required
