Job Description

Responsibilities include production/completion and expense optimization of fields (primarily waterfloods) and some drilling with an emphasis on operations. This position will identify and implement production enhancement opportunities as part of a multi-disipline area team. Employee will assist with budget preparation and monitoring and prepare cost analyses, estimates and AFE's for routine workovers and completion/recompletion of wells. This person will interact daily with workover and production foreman and will be responsible for regular reviews and post evaluation of capital projects. Employee will assist in field opearations as required.

Job Requirements

Position requires BS in Engineering (Preferably Petroleum Engineering). Position requires 15 years experience as operations engineer with 5 years minimum work experience as production engineer. Candidate should demonstrate familiarity of operations, well completions, stimulation, and artifical lift design. Knowledge of applicable production software is preferred (Rod Star, PHD Win). Candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to work well with others in a team enviornment. A working knowledge of other technical disciplines including reservoir and drilling engineering is required.

This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK, local residents are preferred
