Overview
Standard Parking is a long standing Chicago-based, publicly traded (NASDAQ) company which provides parking and transportation management services for real estate firms, various municipalities as well as hospitals and universities. Over the last few years the company has grown rapidly through a series of acquisitions to the point where it now manages approximately 2,200 locations in North America and employs roughly 12,000 employees.

We provide on-site management services at multi-level and surface parking facilities for all major markets of the parking industry. We manage parking facilities containing more than one million parking spaces in over 330 cities across the United States and Canada.

Our diversified client base includes some of the nation's largest private and public owners, managers and developers of major office buildings, residential properties, commercial properties, shopping centers and other retail properties, sports and special event complexes, hotels, and hospitals and medical centers. In the airport market, we manage parking-related and shuttle bus operations serving airports throughout the United States.

We also provide an array of related ancillary services to our clients. They include, for example, valet parking services that we provide at urban and airport locations, as well as on-street parking enforcement and meter collection services that we provide for municipal clients.

Products
Standard Parking has been providing our professional parking management services for our clients for a long time – more than 80 years. During that time, our clients’ needs have grown larger and more complex. As a result:



· We’ve become experts within the various vertical parking markets that we serve. Retail, residential, office, university, healthcare, hotel, special events and municipal.



· We’ve also diversified our service offerings beyond conventional parking services. Today, for example, we operate a fleet of more than 400 buses that transport people in a variety of environments, from airports to university campuses. In some cities, we offer parking facility maintenance services that include power washing, sweeping and scrubbing, curb and pavement repairs and more.



To better reflect these broader competencies, the Company is about to introduce its new SP PlusSM brand:



· Our various SP PlusSM market designations – for example, SP PlusSM Residential Services – will signify to our clients that our market-specific subject matter experts know and understand every subtle detail associated with that market’s particular parking needs.



· Our SP PlusSM Transportation and SP PlusSM Maintenance brands will more clearly distinguish those service lines from the traditional parking services we provide.
