Overview
Financial Services of America/FSA began operation in 1981, assisting young adults with insurance needs and retirement savings plans. By the early 1990’s, we became aware that many people at or near retirement age were lacking some of the basic financial information and services relevant to their unique situation. This section of the population was not receiving proper solutions to address their changing risk tolerance and tax situation.

For this reason, we redirected our efforts in 1993 to educate and inform America’s retired workers, as well as those near retirement, about the unique tax strategies and risk management techniques designed exclusively for this growing segment of our population. As part of our commitment to our nations retirees, we helped create America's Professional Services Association, Inc. (APSA). This association provides not only discounts to numerous businesses in Southeast Michigan, but also provides educational literature on the specific needs of our retired population.

Since our beginning, we have grown into one of the nation’s leading independent providers of financial strategies and can boast of a senior management staff with over 200 combined years of experience and leadership at Financial Services of America, Inc.

Inflation, changing tax laws, fluctuating interest rates, and a variety of financial products add up to a complex financial environment. Old ways of protecting retirement assets are no longer effective and many people can easily get lost in the maze of new information.

These financial objectives, however must still be attained:

  • Reduce income taxes
  • Eliminate Social Security taxes
  • Eliminate probate expenses
  • Protect retirement assets from market losses
  • Eliminate unnecessary insurance expenses
  • Overcome inflation’s effect on CDs and savings accounts
