When would you serve? The core service commitment for Navy Reservists is a minimum of one weekend a month and two weeks a year. In some cases, there can be flexible drilling alternatives. In addition, there are mobilization options that exist to support service abroad as well as here in the United States.
Where would you serve? With hundreds of Navy Reserve Centers across the country, you’re never too far from a location or training site that allows you to train on your drill weekend. And you could travel to various destinations in this country or around the world during your two-week annual training.

Navy Medical Corps Officers can choose from over 30 specialties and subspecialties in Navy Medicine alone. Everything from anesthesiology to urology, family practice to sports medicine, flight surgery to nuclear medicine.
Navy Dental Corps Officers can focus on any of 13 specialty areas – ranging from general practice and orthodontics to oral surgery and forensics.
Navy Nurse Corps Officers can pursue highly regarded positions in over a dozen clinical areas, including critical care and general surgery, orthopedics and oncology, pediatrics and obstetrics, psychiatry and recovery care.
