CareLink was founded in 1959 in Lansdowne, PA to provide people with mental illness a progressive alternative to the revolving door of hospital care. Caring support, housing, assistance with jobs, and practical help in the community resulted in more dignity, stability and hope.
Today, CareLink’s strong foundation in the principles of psychosocial rehabilitation helps people with all types of disabilities to reach both practical goals and lifelong dreams.
CareLink provides a growing array of vocational, care management, residential, and day rehabilitation programs. Services are flexible and individually tailored to the interests, needs and goals of each person served.
Currently CareLink serves nearly 950 people in 31 community programs. The agency employs over 370 full and part time counselors, rehabilitation specialists, and clinicians.
