As we grow older, our health and housing needs change. The kids are gone, the yard is too big, and we want to take it easy for a change and enjoy life in a safe and secure environment. For many seniors who have worked hard during their lives they want to enjoy the fruits of their labor when they retire. For too many seniors, the "best years of their lives" become a time of isolation and frustration. A visit to any one of our communities shows residents who come from many walks of life - homemakers, business owners, sales executives, artists, schoolteachers, military veterans, and elsewhere. They all have come to American Senior Communities because they believe we can provide a better quality of life since "we bring home & health together".

We're glad to help with the adjustment to an enjoyable new lifestyle. We offer free scheduled transportation, and we offer a housekeeping service to help residents maintain their homes. Our residents will also feel a sense of well-being and peace of mind, thanks to a staff thatís available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Perhaps you, or your spouse, could use a little help in everyday activities such as bathing or dressing, grooming, medication monitoring, or you just like the idea of being closer to home healthcare resources if necessary. For residents and their families who are concerned about future needs, we offer a personal care assistance program to help with their daily routine.

Many residents are tired of cooking, don't like dining alone or want variety in their meals. We have an outstanding dining program offering new and interesting entrees - plus plenty of old-time favorites.

Of course, forming new relationships while keeping up existing ones is crucial to many people. Many of our residents have renewed friendships from years ago, made new friends and social circles - and some have even experienced new romance and marriage. Our staff also offers plenty of programs and planned daily activities to help maintain an active social life. We provide opportunities to engage in arts and crafts, cooking, woodworking, jewelry making, current events, music, dance, exercise and more. Now there are a wide variety of alternatives, based on your needs and services available in your area.
