Culture
Our Work is in the Community On street corners. In people's homes. At the workplace. We're wherever we need to be to reach one of the largest disenfranchised groups in the community – those with severe mental illness. Each day, we connect with thousands of people whose lives are turned inside out and who have no other support to help them cope with their illness. Our clients find us or we find them, and the start of a new life begins. We help them face their illness, learn job skills, manage their finances, live with others, learn to care for themselves and cope with the demands of life. We replace confusion with confidence, sadness with smiles and hopelessness with hope. One step at a time, our clients become productive members of the community.

Who We Are
One Complete and Compassionate Resource

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCB) is the primary contact for our clients and their families – a comprehensive resource to access and benefit from our full range of services. Skilled and caring professionals treat clients with compassion, patience and dignity as they provide the individualized services needed. We can address our clients' housing, psychiatric, medication, vocational, social and other support needs. We are their "one stop".

A comprehensive community-based resource for clients with a severe mental illness and their families. Our people-building services include housing, psychiatric, case management, vocational, social, and other support services. Serving over 4,000 clients in Greater Cincinnati.

GCB is a private, non-profit mental health agency. We represent the merger on July 1, 2004 of two of Cincinnati's leading mental health agencies – CRI and QC/M – into a single and comprehensive resource for adults with severe mental illness. Integrating the staff, strengths, and capabilities of CRI and QC/M into one cohesive organization, we are better able to serve their growing needs in our community. We proudly provide our clients and their families with the "best practice" programs and innovative services that change life stories into success stories.
