Melville, New York – September 21, 2006: Adecco, the world leader in workforce solutions, is one of 50 companies across the nation honored by AARP as one of the 2006 Best Employers for Workers Over 50. This marks the third year Adecco has been awarded this distinction, which was created to feature employers who show commitment to an aging workforce.

Recruiting and training 50+ workers has been a clear priority for Adecco. The company created the Renaissance program which attracts aging workers to apply for temporary positions by developing recruitment materials aimed specifically at this population. Additionally, Adecco offers full and part-time employees benefits that are particularly attractive to 50+ workers, including flexible work schedules, tuition reimbursement, in-house classroom training, online training and certification classes.
