  • Vehicle Accident Reconstruction
    Vehicle accidents are a fact of life. All too often, they lead to extensive property damage and even deaths. In all forms of accidents, from a low-speed accidents to collisions involving fixed objects, tractor trailers, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians or trains, Rimkus' experts perform a comprehensive analysis to determine what happened and why. Rimkus' Video and Animation Group has over 12 years of experience in preparing animated sequences for use as demonstrative evidence in court cases. We frequently combine the animation sequences with live video footage for greater realism.     When a catastrophe strikes, time is of the essence. You need an expert who can mobilize and be on the scene within a matter of hours. Rimkus' special catastrophe teams are ready to go and are able to provide the crucial and timely analyses that are vital in the assessment of the damage to pave the way to a speedy recovery. Structural damage, wind versus rising water damage, and similar problems are analyses we do every day. We also are available to determine whether repairs are feasible, complete a scope of those repairs, provide you with a completed estimate and monitor the construction progress after the costs have been agreed to with your insured’s contractor.     Whether it is performance bond default or payment bond default, Rimkus will move quickly to determine the most appropriate course of action.     Rimkus engineers and scientists help to protect clients from the unknowns associated with property acquisition. Hazardous wastes, asbestos materials, mold, leaking storage tanks – all can dramatically change the economics of a new property. The assessments are structured in phases to insure that only those activities necessary to give you assurance about the property’s condition are performed. Each phase provides additional intelligence to aid in the decision-making process surrounding your transaction.

  • Property Condition Assessments
    Rimkus provides Property Condition Assessments (PCA) to help our clients in determining if there are problems which may impact a facility’s continued operation. We can ascertain the current physical condition of the properties and their individual building components. PCAs identify, to the extent feasible, improvements and physical deficiencies in a property’s material systems, components, and equipment as of the time of inspection. We also provide cost estimates to repair or correct conditions as required. Rimkus provides an Immediate Needs Analysis and a Future Needs Analysis to identify anticipated capital expenditures on major building components over the life of a loan or other defined period. If required, our staff of engineers and construction specialists will assess property conditions, life safety issues, building code and ADA compliance issues.
