Thanks to our customers, Stericycle has come a long way since our founding in 1989. The Medical Waste Tracking Act of 1988 presented us with an opportunity to manage waste for a wide variety of facilities far more effectively and at a lower cost than they could on their own — in full compliance with all regulatory conditions. Our headquarters in Lake Forest, Illinois is now supported by 40 treatment/collection facilities and 100 transfer/collection sites, serving over 304,000 customers throughout North America. We’re the largest and only national full-service provider, with a growing presence in Asia, Australia and South America.

This plan covers a broad range of services, including preventive care, physician services, hospital care, mental health and substance abuse treatment and prescription drugs — just to mention a few. The cost of participation in the medical plans is shared between Stericycle and our team members, with Stericycle assuming the majority of the cost. Our medical plan is a managed care plan that provides access to care through a network of providers in your area. The plan pays benefits based on a percentage of charges for covered services; services with out-of-network providers are covered at a lower percentage. The plan offers two ways to purchase prescription drugs — through network pharmacies and through a mail-order prescription service. Dental Stericycle offers dental coverage to eligible full-time team members. The benefits will help you pay for preventive care to maintain healthy teeth and gums, and a broad range of dental and orthodontic services. Vision Stericycle offers vision coverage to eligible full-time team members who choose our medical plan. The benefit helps pay for covered eye exams, lenses and eyeglass frames, providing a maximum amount available annually. Stericycle Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) With your FSA, you can use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare expenses not covered by Stericycle benefits (to include co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance amounts). Stericycle Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) With this type of FSA, you can use your pre-tax contributions to pay for eligible expenses for qualified child or adult dependents. Stericycle, Inc. 401(k) Plan and Trust When you participate in the Stericycle 401(k) Plan, a retirement savings plan, you accumulate savings for your future and retirement years by contributing from 1% to 15% of your pay. Contributions are deducted from your pay on a pre-tax basis. Stericycle matches 50 cents for every dollar you contribute on the first 5% of pay you have saved (to a maximum match of $1,500). You are immediately vested for the full amount in your account, including Company matching contributions. 401(k) savings are invested in options that you choose. Stericycle, Inc. Employee Stock Purchase Plan We encourage our team members to make our Company their Company. Eligible team members can purchase Stericycle stock at a 15% discount from the market price through payroll deduction. Life and ADD Stericycle provides a Life and ADD Insurance benefit at no cost to eligible full-time team members. If you need more coverage than the Company provides, you have the option to purchase additional coverage for yourself and your eligible dependents. Employee Assistance Program This program is designed to provide confidential professional assistance to team members and their eligible dependents in dealing with personal problems that may influence health, well-being, or work-effectiveness. You can access the EAP independently, with complete confidentiality. Services include personal, legal and financial counseling, eldercare and child care referral services. Paid Time Off Eligible Stericycle employees can receive paid time off for vacation, holidays and sick/personal days. Tuition Reimbursement At Stericycle, we recognize that educational development is important. The Company offers tuition reimbursement to eligible team members for job-related accredited college courses and training programs.
