Today and in the future, more of our hospitals will be utilizing robotic technology to aid in surgeries; improve outcomes and reduce recovery times; have pharmacy robots to ensure the proper and timely dispensing of medications; use barcode scanning and electronic records technology to improve patient safety; and treat previously inoperable brain tumors using highly focused beams of radiation.     Behavioral Health The TriStar Family of Hospitals has dedicated facilities as well as specialty units within the hospitals that offer programs ranging from basic psychiatric support to specialized dual treatment programs, geriatric services, partial hospitalization and psychiatric intervention. Cancer Care Dedicated exclusively to cancer care, The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center is the area’s most comprehensive cancer program offering the latest in research-based treatment with multiple locations in Tennessee and south central Kentucky. Cardiac Services The TriStar Health System remains in the forefront of surgical technology from beating heart to robotic surgery. Patients can expect an individualized approach to treatment and a team of experienced cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons with a track record of excellence. Diagnostic Imaging Our Imaging Centers have been designed to meet your outpatient imaging needs in the most comfortable environment possible. We offer a full range of routine diagnostic services, like CT Scanners, MRI, Nuclear Medicine Camera, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology and PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System). Neuroscience & Stroke Services Our hospitals offer a full range of Neuro care, from primary treatment through inpatient rehabilitation. Each hospital has pioneered emergency treatment procedures for stroke that speed care and save lives. We offer the newest minimally-invasive procedures such as carotid artery stent placement and the region’s first Brain Aneurysm Support Group. Orthopaedic Services We provide patients with individualized care and full rehabilitation programs with board-certified orthopaedic physicians who are experts in a range of services from minimally invasive joint procedures to sports medicine and spinal surgery. Rehabilitation Services Serving patients with a variety of diagnoses, including stroke, multiple trauma, total joint replacement (hip or knee), arthritis in multiple joints, fracture of the hip or femur, amputation and neurological disorders. Sleep Disorders Centers Our Sleep Disorders Centers offer a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Registered technologists and therapists use the latest in state-of-the-art equipment to monitor your sleep. Our physicians are certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and provide a thorough medical assessment which can help identify the source of sleep related problems. Surgical Services The following represents areas of surgical specialization in which you can receive quality medical care through The TriStar Health System. Weight Loss Centers The TriStar Family of Hospitals Weight Loss Centers offer multi-disciplinary comprehensive programs with surgical options like laparoscopic gastric bypass and Lap-Band. These approaches provide great results with shorter hospital stays, less postoperative pain, fewer wound complications and less time away from work. Women’s Services The TriStar Health System has one of the largest obstetric services in middle Tennessee and the Chattanooga area. We offer a full range of women’s health services such as women and heart care, surgical center, breast imaging, pediatric rehabilitation, high risk units, family birth center and obesity treatment centers.
    Our Facilities
    Centennial Medical Center at Ashland City offers the Cheatham County community enhanced on-site healthcare options which include inpatient care for non-life threatening illnesses, outpatient surgery, a 24-hour emergency room, lab services and imaging services.

    Centennial Medical Center is a 685-bed tertiary facility located in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, and is recognized as one of the country’s 100 Top Hospitals in cardiovascular medicine, stroke service, orthopaedics and breast cancer management.

    Greenview Regional Hospital is a 211-bed acute care facility with over 200 physicians trained in a variety of specialties providing outstanding healthcare services to the greater Bowling Green, Kentucky area.

    Hendersonville Medical Center, located in Sumner County, is a 110-bed community-based medical center with comprehensive medical and surgical programs including cardiology, orthopaedics, obstetrics and neurosurgery services.

    Horizon Medical Center, located in Dickson, Tennessee, is a 157-bed hospital offering advanced medical and surgical technologies for personalized patient and family-based care. The active staff of board certified physicians offers care in more than 20 different specialties.

    Natchez Medical Park, located in Dickson, Tennessee, the 66-acre site will include The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, Natchez Imaging Center, physician offices for Tennessee Oncology and a resource center for The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation. Construction for the park’s first building is scheduled to be completed in early 2007.

    Parkridge Medical Center has served the community since 1971, providing a full range of services offering the highest quality of care in cardiology, robotics, vascular surgery, orthopaedics and oncology.

    Parkridge East Hospital, a facility of Parkridge Medical Center, is a 128-bed acute care community hospital serving the Chattanooga, Tennessee, and northwest Georgia area, specializing in high-risk births, women’s services, bariatric surgery, orthopaedics, outpatient surgery and diagnostics.

    Parkridge Valley, a behavioral health facility of Parkridge Medical Center located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has served the tri-state area for over 32 years, providing unparalleled expertise in treating a broad range of behavioral and chemical dependency problems for all ages.

    Parthenon Pavilion is the oldest and largest full-service 158-bed psychiatric facility in middle Tennessee, providing inpatient mental health services for adults and geriatric patients as well as community-based mental health programs.

    Portland Medical Center is a 38-bed medical center offering a full array of acute care services including 24-hour emergency care, general surgery, intensive care and outpatient diagnostics. Also located in Sumner County, Portland Medical Center has been providing sophisticated medical and surgical care to the community for over 90 years.
    Skyline Medical Center is nationally recognized for its neuroscience services and was Tennessee’s first hospital to receive national certification as a Primary Stroke Center. Featuring all private patient rooms, Skyline provides state-of-the-art services for cardiac, emergency, oncology, orthopaedics and rehab patients.

    Skyline Madison Campus provides middle Tennessee’s most comprehensive rehab services program, featuring the Krueger Independence Square Village which helps patients learn the skills they need to return to an independent lifestyle. And, its Behavioral Health Services program provides a full range of services for all ages from inpatient care to partial hospitalization programs which allow people to continue working while receiving care.

    Southern Hills Medical Center has been a leader for 26 years in a wide range of state-of-the-art healthcare, including emergency services, cardiology, vascular surgery, orthopaedics and oncology.

    Coming Soon - Spring Hill Hospital - HCA’s TriStar Health System has received approval to build a full-service hospital in Spring Hill. The new hospital, scheduled for completion in 2010, will be built at the intersection of Kedron Road and Saturn Parkway. The hospital will offer a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient services, magnetic resonance imaging, cardiology, general surgery, outpatient surgery, obstetrics, cancer care, intensive care and diagnostic services.

    StoneCrest Medical Center is a state-of-the-art hospital offering a full array of acute care services including emergency and intensive care, general surgery, cardiology, obstetrics, physical medicine, outpatient diagnostic services and cancer care. StoneCrest offers advanced medical capabilities, personalized patient and family-based care, as well as 75 private patient rooms situated on 43 acres at the intersection of Interstate 24 and Sam Ridley Parkway.

    Summit Medical Center is a 188-bed community hospital built on a strong foundation, technological innovation and high-quality care, situated in one of the fastest growing areas of middle Tennessee.

    The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center is a service-line offered through The TriStar Family of Hospitals designed to meet the needs of individuals undergoing cancer treatment, providing the most extensive drug, radiation and surgical services in the southeast.

    The Women’s Hospital at Centennial is Tennessee’s only stand-alone women’s hospital and neo-natal intensive care unit delivering 2,500 babies annually and is recognized nationally in breast cancer management in addition to providing the area’s only total digital mammography program.
