SHR is a leading organization that provides physician and clinical staffing and management services to United States Military Treatment Facilities, VA clinics and other Federal Agencies through various contracting vehicles. A Joint Commission Certified Health Care Staffing Services firm, SHR is the federal staffing division of TeamHealth, a Nationwide organization that serves 700 civilian and military hospitals with a team of 6,900 affiliated health care professionals.

In recognizing the evolving needs of the MHS, SHR has spent the past several years focusing on the development of an operational staff that is experienced in working with MTFs and focused on operational excellence in any activity affecting our clients. SHR developed this expertise by aligning regionally focused teams with specific areas of the country. This local area presence coupled with SHR's proactive recruiting activities enable the quick identification of potential market barriers and obstacles in both rural and urban areas. In addition, SHR's local presence allows for our immediate availability to our partner MTFs to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise. Because of SHR's nationwide reputation, flexibility and capacity to transfer healthcare professionals to other locations, SHR has been able to draw upon many dependents of active duty service members and retired personnel. To complement our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, SHR has established regional offices in Fayetteville, North Carolina; Portsmouth, Virginia; San Antonio, Texas; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and San Diego, California. This distribution of resources to areas with high concentrations of military beneficiaries is SHR's strategy for remaining in close contact with clients. These local offices are supported by the operational staff in St. Louis, thus providing the Nationwide Scope supporting SHR's success and ensuring client satisfaction.
